Recently, NASA successfully used the laser beam to transmit the famous Mona Lisa’s smile to the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) flying around the moon. This is also the first human use of laser in the interstellar image data transmission. NASA said the study was part of the agency’s LRO laser communications test.
