鄂南民间叙事诗《双合莲》宏篇巨制的结构在汉民族叙事诗中实属罕见,它对以《孔雀东南飞》为代表的中国古代叙事诗纯熟的结构技巧既有继承又有发展。发展的一面在于:《双合莲》作者在叙述完整故事的同时,穿插了很多流传在鄂南山区的民歌小调。这些民歌小调,在整合故事情节、用铺陈艺术构建作品结构的层次感和厚重感、拓展作品的篇幅、弥补中国古代叙事诗在表现人物心理手法上的欠缺等方面都起到了极大的作用。鄂南地区民间长篇叙事诗创作的蓬勃景观,与《双合莲》结构技巧的示范作用密切相关。
The structure of the grand piece system of the folklore narrative poem “Double Lotus” in the southern Hubei is rare in Han nationality narrative poetry. It has both the inheritance and the development of the skillful structure skills of the ancient Chinese narrative poem represented by “Peacock Flying Southeast”. One side of development lies in the fact that the author of “Double Lotus” narrates the complete story at the same time, interspersing many folk minorities circulating in the mountains of southern Hubei Province. These folk songs have played a very significant role in the integration of the storyline, the art of building the layered structure and thickness of the work structure, the expansion of the length of the work, and the remedy of the lack of performance of ancient Chinese narrative poetry in the performance of the characters. The flourishing landscape of long folk narrative poems in southern Hubei is closely related to the demonstration effect of the structural skills of “Double Lotus”.
