产品设计不仅包括对产品造型的设计,还应包括对色彩的选择和配比,这在传达产品的功能方面同样有着不可忽视的作用。色彩的物理属性、心理属性、环境属性以及时代和地域特征在功能指向性方面的作用是设计师进行色彩设计的依据,从而实现造型语言所不能传达的功能。当然,设计师不能孤立地研究产品色彩的功能指向性,还应宏观考虑产品、环境、人和时空这一完整的系统,充分了解人们的审美心理需求。
