入世之初,各大报刊都争相报道一种观点:中国有条件成为世界工厂。醒目的大标题,彰显着一种激情。而支撑这种观点的诸多有利条件的分析,看起来顺理成章且振奋人心。这诸多有利条件中,其中最基本、最主要的一点是我国的劳动力资源优势。这也是一直以来经济学家们津津乐道的我国参与国际竞争的“比较优势”。
At the beginning of accession to the WTO, all major newspapers and magazines are vying with one point: China has the conditions to become a world factory. Highlight the title, highlighting a passion. The analysis of many favorable conditions that underpin this view seems logical and exciting. Among these many favorable conditions, one of the most basic and major points is the advantage of China’s labor resources. This is also the “comparative advantage” that our country has been relishing in participating in international competition by economists all along.
