厦门港10万吨级航道根据当时厦门港的港口自然环境、货物吞吐量和船型预测进行设计和建设的,建成后满足了2万吨级船舶全天候双向通行,10万吨级船舶有条件单向通行,为厦门港生产规模扩大发挥了重要作用。但吞吐量的猛增的同时,随之而来的是进出厦门港的大型船舶增多,船舶交通流量增大,由于厦门港的水文气象条件、地理因素、船员素质等诸多因素,厦门港的进港航道再次成为制约厦门港发展的瓶颈之地,而且是事故多发水域。本文试对厦门港通航环境治理作一探讨。

This paper tries to make a discussion on Xiamen Port Navigation Environment Management.
