初一语文课本中的插图,大抵有这样三种类型:第一种介绍作者,让学生对那些有代表性的名家有一个直观的认识;第二种揭示文意(占大多数),用以帮助学生更好地读懂文章,理解文意,把握人物性格或事件发生的背景;第三种作为训练,让学生在前两种学习的基础上,来训练自己读图、理解、运用的能力。插图出现的形式,或为工笔,或为漫画;或为彩页,或为素描;或为单幅,或为组画。通过以上三种类型插图的教学,培养学生综合理解的能力,陶冶学生高尚的情操和健康的审美情趣。 怎样才能图文结合,培养学生的读图能力,准确、全面地把握课文内容,进而提高看图作文的水平呢?
