在20世纪的世界文坛上,凯瑟琳·安·波特凭借其高超的创作才华和独特的写作风格,获得了评论家的广泛赞誉,成为美国文坛旗帜性人物。近年来对波特作品的研究已经呈现出多元化的趋势。本文借助叙事学理论,结合波特的短篇小说作品从第一人称叙事角度进行探讨,分析了内外部视角在波特作品中的运用,突出强化了波特作品中的叙事特色,以此来揭示其中所蕴含的审美意蕴及其价值观取向,并同时从叙事学角度,分析波特的一些有代表性的小说作品。本文结合相关叙事理论和文本分析,对其作品从叙事功能的视角进行解读,为读者解析波特作品提供新的思路。
In the 20th century world literary world, Catherine Ann Potter, with her superb creative talent and unique style of writing, received wide acclaim from critics and became a leading figure in the American literary world. In recent years, the study of Porter’s works has shown a diversified trend. Based on the theory of narratology and Porter’s short story works, this thesis explores the use of inside and outside perspectives in Porter’s work and highlights and enhances the narrative features in Porter’s work, Implied aesthetic implication and value orientation, and at the same time analyzes some of Porter’s representative novel works from the perspective of narratology. Based on the relevant narrative theory and text analysis, this article interprets his works from the perspective of narrative function and provides readers with new ideas for analyzing Porter’s works.
