许多大学英语教师都在抱怨职业倦怠。为了解大学英语教师职业倦怠的实际情况并提出缓解对策,在某医学院校外语教师中进行了问卷调查和书面访谈。问卷调查结果显示,29.73%的受访者存在职业倦怠感。性别和教育背景两方面的差异不显著。但年长和教龄更长教师的职业成就感更低,教龄更长的教师报告的去人性化体验更强烈。同样,高职称教师报告的去人性化体验也更强烈。书面访谈结果提示:与工作、学生、管理和教师发展有关的四种因素导致职业倦怠。要缓解职业倦怠,需要从内外调节两方面入手。教师和所在院校需要共同努力来减轻职业倦怠症状。
Many college English teachers are complaining about job burnout. In order to understand the actual situation of college English teachers’ job burnout and put forward some countermeasures, questionnaires and written interviews were conducted among foreign language teachers in a medical college. The survey results show that 29.73% of respondents have a sense of job burnout. The differences in gender and educational background are not significant. However, older and older teachers have a lower sense of professional accomplishment, and older teachers report more dehumanizing experiences. In the same way, higher-level teachers report more dehumanizing experiences. Written interviews suggest that four factors related to work, student, management and teacher development lead to job burnout. To alleviate the burnout, we must start with both internal and external adjustment. Teachers and institutions need to work together to alleviate the symptoms of job burnout.
