馆藏是图书馆提供信息服务的物质基础,各类型图书馆都把馆藏发展工作视为首要任务。我国很多高职院校图书馆长期以来馆藏基础薄弱,资源建设缺乏系统积累和合理规划。而美国社区学院职业教育在人才培养、教学方式等方面与我国高职教育有很多相似之处,其图书馆馆藏发展工作在政策、组织和人员方面值得我们学习和借鉴。通过比较分析,发现我国高职图书馆应该从重视馆藏发展政策制定,健全和理清资源建设组织结构,培养馆藏协调人员三方面改进馆藏发展工作。 Collection is the material basis for the library to provide information services. All kinds of libraries regard the development of collections as their top priority. Many libraries of higher vocational colleges in our country have long had a weak foundation for collection and lack of systematic accumulation and rational planning of resource construction. However, the vocational education in the American Community College has many similarities with the higher vocational education in China in terms of personnel training and teaching methods. The development of its library collection deserves our study and reference in policy, organization and personnel. Through comparative analysis, it is found that the higher vocational library in our country should improve the collection development from three aspects: focusing on the collection development policy, improving and clarifying the organizational structure of resource construction, and training the collection coordination personnel.
