刃瓣宽度和螺距之比F/P≥4的丝锥,在齿背上可做成两个熨平段,这种丝锥主要用来制造小螺距螺纹。丝锥每一个齿顺刃瓣宽在切削段之后分布两个熨平(塑性变形)段。图a表示的丝锥由切削锥部1、定径部2和柄部3组成,丝锥刃瓣前刃面视图、齿在中径上的廓形和弓形截面(展开成平面)表示在图6上,齿的熨平段5、6在弓形截面上做成中凸形。齿的切削段中径d_2~P和熨平段中径d_2~(B1)、d_3~(B2)的特性如下:d_2~(B2)>d_2~(B1)>d_2~P,并且d_2~(B1)-d_2~Y>d_2~(B2)-d_2~(B1)。
