Shen Yanbing (Mao Dun) is not a professional politician, not a professional revolutionary. However, he has an inseparable and close relationship with politics and with the Chinese revolution. He was a member of the early communist party in Shanghai, the first communist in China and the first communist in the literary world. After the defeat of the Great Revolution, Shen Yanbing went into exile in Japan in 1928 and lost contact with the party organizations. Since then, Shen Yanbing has long engaged in the party’s revolutionary and cultural undertakings as an outsider. Shen Yanbing made a lot of work for the founding of the Chinese Communist Party and the Great Revolution, and these jobs have long been little known.
