陶淵明所體現的“自然”是建立在人的“關係性”本質上,以田園爲場域,所開展出的“人境自然”;“對話”則是陶淵明基於人境關係表陳存在體驗的自然傾向。他的“對話”反映了三個向度的多重主題:一是空間向度的社會與自然場域,二是時間向度的歷史與未來意識,三是深層向度的主體與精神的掘發。經由這三個向度的對話,不但使他成爲最善於透過藝術形式呈現深度哲思的詩人,也使他所塑立的人格典範與桃源理想受到讀者最爲廣大的迴應。
