The civilization of medicine and human society is closely related to each other. The medical science as a kind of cultural phenomenon shows the progress of human civilization to some extent. This paper intends to compare the characteristics of Chinese and Western medical culture with the way of thinking. It is generally believed that Chinese medicine originated from the yin-yang and the five elements of cosmopower theory and life structure.
