There are often some individual barriers to implementing new regulations in the health-care sector that are often linked up and down. It is unlikely that health professionals working in the TB department will intervene smoking cessation unless they recognize the importance of this intervention and believe that the intervention may be effective. Health professionals should understand what they expect to do and the skills or measures to take. But aside from letting them know, volunteer and willing health workers and health services need to provide an incentive infrastructure. Among the standard and practical guidelines for the management of tuberculosis patients, the content of the cessation of smoking and its accompanying form must be included in the standard supervision process. Project managers and technical advisers need to consult, encourage, and support the connotation of smoking cessation. It is advisable to have staff who coordinate smoking cessation activities in order to guarantee the supply of the required materials and to provide feedback and assistance to other staff.
