软式阶梯溢洪道结构是针对我省小型水库溢洪设施存在的问题而研究设计的。该结构采用了新技术、新材料，并在我省实际工程中应用，取得了良好的经济效益和社会效果，对于我省众多小型水库及塘坝具有广泛的应用价值。
The soft stepped spillway structure is designed for the problems existing in the spillway facilities of small reservoirs in our province. The structure uses new technologies and new materials, and the application in the actual project in our province, has achieved good economic and social effects, for many small reservoirs and ponds in our province has a wide range of applications.
