近来,防腐技术已大大提高,进步较快,管道防腐也有显著提高。作为防腐使用的包复材料聚乙烯(以下称 PE)已被广泛采用。最近,对聚乙烯的防腐性、强度及冲击性等、研究表明,已经能实际应用了。1979年以来,我们对外径20英寸(508 mm)~64英寸(1626mm)的钢管进行了 PE 包复。有600米管线横跨地中海海底,有地处热带的60英寸(1524mm)的沙特阿拉伯淡水输送管线,还有寒冷地带的苏联天然气管线等。最近,由于出现了天然气在高压下、重油在高温下输送的情况,管线的工作温度提高了,那么采取 PE 包复的钢管的性能能否适应,多少温度合适是非常有意义的。
