近几年来,在烧结料中配加一定量的含镁熔剂,使烧结矿MgO含量维持在2.5—3.0%,已在高炉冶炼中取得了良好的效果。增加烧结矿MgO含量,可以提高软化温度,减小高炉炉渣粘度受炉温波动的影响。因此,含MgO物料已成为烧结料中必不可少的添加物。包钢使用的含镁物料和全国大多数厂家一样,是白云石。由于包头铁精矿含SiO_2低,为保证烧结矿强度和高炉内造渣的需要,烧结料中要配一定量的高硅矿粉,使SiO_2维持在7.0—7.5%左右。
