我与美术史结缘,已有四十多个年头了。1961年刚考进中央美术学院美术史系时,并不甘心学美术史,非常热衷于美术现状,喜欢美术批评。当时看得最多的是哲学、美学方面的书。经过文化大革命,感到现代评论要被迫接受诸多非学术因素的干扰,自知弱智,分寸把握不好,加之进首都师范大学担当的是美术史课程,教的过程中越发觉得美
