近年来,使用10-11~10-13秒的时间宽度极短的光脉冲微微秒光谱学,多以液体和固体为对象进行。为此目的,研究了各种技术,但最基本的是研制可以稳定地,并可能重复振荡、时间宽度短而质量高的光脉冲激光器。但是还难以说这种技术已充分过关了。
