2012年,自治区隆重推出“热爱伟大祖国、建设美好家园”系列连环画,内容包括“奋斗改变命运”“爱国无上光荣”“民生连着民心”“伊斯兰教是倡导和平团结的宗教”“愚昧遗恨终生”等。新疆人民出版总社共承担了其中8本连环画的出版任务。眼下,这些图书已全部高质量出版完成。具体来说,这8本图书,新疆人民出版总社于2012年上半年和下半年各出版了4本。2012年上半年出版的4本图书,分别是《打工者》《守边者》《领路人》
