唐山市农科所冬小麦育种起始于六十年代,曾先后育成一些品种(系)应用于生产,取得了较好的成绩。其中唐麦2号在新疆推广百万亩以上。 二十几年来,我所育成的品种有唐麦1号、唐麦2号、冀麦28号、唐麦4号、唐89—7111等品种(系),基本上形成了能够适应本地区不同气候、肥力、茬口等条件下种植的品种。有高肥麦地产量400kg/667m~2左右的冀麦28号,中至中上等肥力的唐麦2号。适合夏秋粮一体化种植的唐麦4号。在协调早熟、丰产和抗寒的矛盾上有较大突破,兼抗多种病害(条锈、叶锈、白粉病)及多个生理小种(条中17、18、20、21、22、23、24、25)。如冀麦28号对条锈、叶锈病免疫,唐麦4号对白粉病免疫,在国内育成品种中居领先地位。
