The rise and development of demand-oriented trend of thought in modern economic research provides a brand new research perspective for the study of China’s modern industrialization, which helps to explore the origin of industrialization. There is an inherent correlation between demand-business revolution and industrial revolution. The slow growth of aggregate demand constitutes an important constraint on the non-development of industrialization in modern China. The slow growth in aggregate demand can be largely attributed to the lack of a developed modern market, large-scale expansion of trade and the unfinished and abandoned commercial revolution. In fact, in modern China, unfinished industrialization and aggregate demand growth are slow and uncompleted commercial revolutions are mutually exclusive.
