1976年,Westcott氏等提出在侧位胸片上利用右肺动脉—左房轴线直接测量左房深径的方法(见图1),并通过与超声心动图对照,证明由食道左房压迹最深点至此轴线的垂直距离,可以较准确地反映左房深径大小。在上述方法中,切过右肺动脉前缘的直线(a),要求应和食道与左房邻近段的长轴(e)平行。但实践中我们体会到,当食道左房压迹的上下界不明确时,确定此长轴常感困难,尤在食道明显移位时更是如此。
In 1976, Westcott et al proposed a method of direct measurement of left atrium depth using the right pulmonary artery-left atrial axis on a lateral chest radiograph (see Figure 1) and by contrast with echocardiography, it was demonstrated that the deepest point To this axis of the vertical distance, can more accurately reflect the size of the left atrium deep.
