偶然之机,认识了省古籍修复中心特聘专家潘美娣老师,为我开启了一扇了解古籍修复和为古籍传承失志不渝的窗口。1963年9月,18岁的潘美娣因患腰椎间盘突出,离开上海市舞蹈学校和她深爱的民族与古典舞蹈专业,被分配到上海图书馆修补组,师从我国古籍修复的南派高手曹有福老先生,学习古籍修复。此时已是73岁高龄的曹有福老先生,还是用那种老派专家的传统模式带徒弟,他给潘美娣上的第一课,是教徒弟搓古籍修复中用于固定书页的纸钉。曹老先用皮纸搓出一个当样子,然后就给了潘美娣一沓纸,
