钍(Ⅳ)与茜素磺酸(alizarin S)作用生成红色溶液的反应.早已应用于钍(Ⅳ)的定性分析,这种溶液加入氟化物则能定量地发生减色作用曾被推荐用于F-的测定。但据作者所知,应用此试剂作钍(Ⅳ)的定量分析则仍未见文献上有所报导。本文的目的就是要利用茜素磺酸作钍(Ⅳ)的比色测定。根据作者的试验,钍(Ⅳ)与茜素磺酸在pH3的缓冲溶液中产生红色溶液,颜色稳定性及重演性均较钍试剂(Thoron)法为佳。钍(Ⅳ)含量在0.5—2.5ppm之间成直线关系,符合比尔定律。经过分光光度测定,显色溶液的最大吸收在510—520mμ之间。相对误差在5%以下。本法用于独居石中钍的含量测定,有快速准确的优点。
The reaction of thorium (Ⅳ) with alizarin S to form a red solution has long been used in the qualitative analysis of thorium (IV), which is quantitatively reduced by the addition of fluoride. It has been proposed F-Determination. However, to the best of our knowledge, the quantitative analysis of thorium (IV) using this reagent has not been reported in the literature. The purpose of this paper is to use alizarin sulfonic acid as a thorium (IV) colorimetric assay. According to the author’s experiment, thorium (Ⅳ) and alizarin sulfonic acid produce a red solution in pH3 buffer solution, which is better than Thoron method in color stability and repeatability. Thorium (Ⅳ) content between 0.5-2.5ppm in a linear relationship, in line with Bill’s law. After spectrophotometry, the maximum absorption of the chromogenic solution between 510-520mμ. The relative error is below 5%. This method is used for determination of thorium in monazite, with the advantages of fast and accurate.
