Its center is in the vicinity of Jinqu County. The reason why Tang Gaozong sealed Songzan as a “king of ” is because Songtsan-ganbang assisted Tang Ping in setting up Zhongtian Zhu and sacrificing Chang’an, Shock Tianzhu. This incident is quite similar to the story of Han emperor Gao Zuzu who “recruited people to set up Sanqin.” Therefore, Emperor Gaozong praised Songtsan Ganbu for his ancestry by “ ”. This measure further consolidated the stable political situation between the Tang Dynasty and the Tubo State and was of profound political significance in the prevailing social context.
