扭曲向列(TN)型是液晶电光显示器件的基本显示方式之一.运用格栅方法计算了TN型液晶盒的透光率与液晶盒的厚度、液晶材料的各向异性因子以及入射光波长的函数关系.结果表明,液晶金自身的性质也会影响器件在施加电场前后的显示反差.TN型液晶显示原理仅在一定条件下成立.还讨论了TN型液晶器件显示反差对厚度或波长的依赖性.这些结果对实际应用具有一定的指导意义.
Twisted nematic (TN) type is one of the basic display modes of liquid crystal electro-optical display device. The transmittance of the TN-type liquid crystal cell is calculated by using the grid method as a function of the thickness of the liquid crystal cell, the anisotropy factor of the liquid crystal material and the wavelength of incident light. The results show that the nature of liquid crystal gold will also affect the device before and after the application of electric field display contrast. TN-type liquid crystal display principle is only established under certain conditions. The dependence of TN-type liquid crystal display contrast on thickness or wavelength is also discussed. These results have certain guiding significance for practical application.
