外周血染色体培养取材容易，培养过程简单，一般都能获得满意结果。我们在对350例精神病患者和健康成年人进行外周血染色体培养时发现，绝大多数表现为分裂中期的染色体细胞数目多，染色体大，平直，分散度好，徐片清晰。但也有极少数培养失败，表现为具有分裂中期染色体的细胞 Chromosome culture peripheral blood drawn easily, the cultivation process is simple, generally can get satisfactory results.
