Objective To explore the characteristics and laws of physical changes of plateau athletes. Methods Twelve plateau male middle and long distance runners were tested for blood and cardiopulmonary function during the second plains alternation training at 2260 m, 2630 m and 396 m. The results showed that the physiological indicators showed good results after being trained alternately at a higher altitude (2 630m above sea level). Conclusion The application of higher altitude and lower oxygen stimulation training can improve the altitude athletes aerobic metabolism. The trend of physiological training of two plain trainings is inconsistent, which is related to the training arrangement before and after the lower plain, climate and other factors.
