编辑同志:我们是做基层农业技术推广工作的技术员,农民常向我们提一些新的问题,叫我们解答,可是因我们的文化水平低、农业知识少,问题往往不能解决,若是关于一般的农作物栽培技术,还勉强能答对,但若是病虫害的识别和防治方面的问题,就往往被问得哑口无言。这样就迫使我们必须努力学习农作物病虫害知识。但是,目前出版的书,多是一本书只介绍一、两种病虫害,远不能满足我们的要求。我们基层技术干部的工作时间几乎有三分之一化在病虫害这一工作上,多么需要新的全面的病虫害知识呀!因而我们希望农业病虫害专家们能尽 Editor’s Comrade: We are technicians who work as grassroots agricultural extensionists. Farmers often ask us some new questions and ask us to answer them. However, because of our low education level and the lack of agricultural knowledge, the problems can not be solved. This forces us to work hard to learn about plant diseases and insect pests.
