症状性全身性癫痫(SGE)患者服用抗癫痫药物(AED)时可发生抗药性,并出现混合性全身性癫痫发作,迷走神经刺激(VNS)可减少部分性癫痫发作而控制SGE。作者在5例SGE病例中通过迷走神经刺激来协助AED治疗。 首先对病人的癫痫发作进行脑电图(EEG)监测分类。根据以往的资料和瞬间记录,将癫痫发作分为全身强直性发作、非典型失神性发作、全身性强直一阵挛性发作、部分性发作。这5例病人均为抗药性混合性全身性发作,EEG示弥漫性棘一慢波,合并非进行性智力下降和行为异常。所有病例均被诊断为Lennox-
Patients with symptomatic generalized epilepsy (SGE) may develop resistance to antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) and have mixed generalized seizures. Vagal stimulation (VNS) may reduce partial seizures and control SGE. The authors assisted AED treatment with vagus nerve stimulation in 5 SGE cases. First, the patient’s epileptic seizures by EEG monitoring classification. Based on past data and instantaneous records, the seizures were divided into generalized tonic seizures, atypical deafness seizures, generalized tonic clonic seizures, partial seizures. All 5 patients were drug-resistant mixed systemic seizures, EEG showed diffuse spasm of a slow wave, the merger of non-progressive mental decline and abnormal behavior.
