亚洲——拥有全球60%左右人口的世界第一大洲,在风起云涌的国际体育舞台上扮什么角色? 回答这些问题并非轻而易举,但我们可以对亚洲竞技体育作一次快速扫描。竞技水平逐步提高,但与世界水平的差距仍十分明显进入80年代后,共举办了两届亚运会。第9届亚运会,共创90多个亚运会纪录;第10届亚运会,绝大部分纪录做刷新,并破3项、平2项世界纪录。第24届奥运会,亚洲共获83枚奖牌(金牌22枚)乒乓球、跳水、射箭等项目仍处世界领先地位:女子游泳、摔跤、拳出等有了长足进步。但差距不容忽视:亚洲在第24届奥运会上获得的金牌数仅占金牌总数的9%;奖版占11%。不少项目
ASIA - What is the role of the world’s top continent with about 60% of the world’s population on the rushing international sports arena? Answering these questions is not an easy task, but we can make a quick scan of athletics in Asia.
