The “Cultural Revolution” is the result of a misguided effort to explore China’s own socialist construction. It is rooted in a number of major differences of principle and contradictions over the long-term accumulation of inner-party economic construction since 1956, mainly due to the maintenance and negation of the “Three Flanks of Red Mansions.” The disagreements on economic construction not only led to the political false expansion of misdirected theory and the vicious development of practice, but also the interaction with the individual style of dictatorship organizationally led to the “Great Cultural Revolution.”
