三明钢铁厂新建3号高炉(314m~3)于1985年11月13日顺利投产。开炉后二十多天最高日产量已达500t,最高风温1080℃,焦比620kg(铸造铁)。3号高炉设计采用了烧结矿槽下过筛,顶燃式热风炉、热管换热器、矮身液压泥炮和高压炉顶等技术。设备全部配套后,年产铁能力为20～25万吨。 The new No. 3 blast furnace (314m ~ 3) at Sanming Iron & Steel Works was successfully put into operation on November 13, 1985.
