Introduction In the fields of finance, administration, office, etc., the contents of the e-mail often need to be kept confidential. The e-mail receiver needs to confirm the validity of the e-mail. The sender of the e-mail needs to get the “receipt” of the receiver to confirm that the e-mail is received by the correct receiver And to realize the separation of responsibilities in order to provide evidence of disputes that may follow. At present, the email client and mail server interact with each other by using the SMTP protocol (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) and the POP3 protocol (Post Office Protocol). These two protocols do not provide security technologies to ensure the above requirements. Moreover, since the SMTP protocol and the POP3 protocol implement the plain text transmission of the network, not only the contents of the email are exposed to the Internet, but even the user account information can not be spared, laying a huge security risk for the user.
