民间曾流传着九龙罐的故事。说的是很久以前,有个地方遇上了罕见的旱年,有位青年决心寻泉引水来解救乡亲。一天,青年走近无锡惠泉山白云洞,眼前悬崖峭壁,无路可行,见只小青蛙跳跃而去。青年心想,有蛙必有水,有水必有泉。没走几步,小青蛙跳进碗口大的小水潭。可是,潭水已干,小青蛙泪眼汪汪。忽然,潭水翻腾,出现一位美女,自称山神之女,家有九龙宝罐,住河汉之源,被魔鬼所占。后来,青年战胜魔鬼,九龙一起喷出泉水。这就是“天下第二泉”的桌历。用第二泉水冲出的茶水高出杯口而不溢,有消烦解渴和延年益寿之功。中国是个多泉的国家,象上面说的泉多不胜数。 Folk once circulated the story of Kowloon cans.
