《大学与美术馆》第四期以“作为美术馆的‘声音’”为主题,主要指向于两个向度的思考和讨论:一是探讨一种当代艺术较难识别和辨认的门类或“品种”——“声音实践”(或“声音艺术”),它们在与美术馆发生关系的过程中所扮演的角色,并以此为基础,展开一系列知识累积和学术探讨。这一板块主要围绕“声音”展开讨论,通过诸如:什么是“声音艺术”;美术馆与“声音艺术”的关系;“声音”在空间与时间之间的实践;东方与西方对“声音”的不同理解,以及“声音”与政治、身体等的关系。
