激光器已成为机载武器装备中的一个重要组成部分,并正在获得越来越多的应用。目前已采用激光作目标指示器。采用接收机就能使目标指示器得到精确的倾斜距离,这是以前在坦克火力控制系统中所得的一种功能。激光还可得到很精确的飞行高度数据,并且是飞机惯性系统数据校正或更新的一种工具。如同机载雷达的发展,激光正从单模向多模器件发展。在这方面激光的功能是指示和测距。而选通照明和探测电线对直升飞机的障碍等也是今后预料中的功能。正在继续进行的激光研究还包括其他方面的武器装备:目标探测和搜索传感器,导航和定位,武器及发射等技术。
Lasers have become an important part of airborne weaponry and are gaining more and more applications. Laser has been used as a target indicator. The use of a receiver enables the target indicator to be precisely tilted, a feature formerly found in tank fire control systems. The laser also has very accurate fly-height data and is a tool for correcting or updating the data of the aircraft’s inertial system. As airborne radar develops, lasers are evolving from single-mode to multi-mode devices. The function of the laser in this respect is to instruct and to distance measure. Gating lighting and detecting obstacles to helicopters are also expected future functions. The ongoing laser research also includes other weapons and equipment: target detection and search sensors, navigation and positioning, weapons and launch technology.
