南宋周煇所撰《清波杂志》是一部主要记述宋代社会和文化的史料笔记（本文采用刘永翔《清波杂志校注》本,中华书局1994年9月第1版）。它虽为周煇“暇日因笔之”之作,然“列圣（指北宋列朝帝王）家法之盛,大臣启迪之忠,皆可书而诵也”（卷一）。作者的好友张贵谟为《清波杂志》所序亦云:“纪前言往行及耳目所接,虽寻常细事,多有益风教。”又如同时陈晦跋此书云:“感时们怀旧,奖善黜恶,断断然有补风教。”稍晚于周煇的张岩也在跋中云:“此志有关于风教者甚多,渠可不传远乎！”。可知,政治教化的追求与崇尚乃《清波杂志》的主旨所在。正是基于此种思想,《清波杂志》记录了北宋新旧党人、尤其是新党诸人的事迹。本文拟就志中所录北宋新党诸人事迹作一评析,以期对于北宋新党诸人、乃至北宋新旧党争有较为客观而全面的认识和评价。

It is precisely based on this kind of thinking that ”Qingbo Magazine" recorded the deeds of the Neo-Lao and Beixin people in the Northern Song Dynasty, especially the New-party people. This article intends to make a comment on the deeds of the New Song dynasty from the records of the Northern Song Dynasty, with a view to gaining a more objective and comprehensive understanding of the New Song dynasty and the Northern Song dynasty.
