自罗素及逻辑实证主义者从语义和逻辑上向历来的哲学ontology(本体论 )发起挑战 ,接着海德格尔又从存在主义角度对ontology提出新诠释主张 ,向他认为是误释的传统观点提出了根本性的挑战以来 ,至今已近百年。与之相关 ,中国学者中研究西方哲学的人们 ,也一直对如何理解西方哲学的ontology和如何在汉语中翻译幃v(being)这个根本范畴 ,感到很大的困惑 ,进行着讨论。在半个世纪以前 ,陈康先生对把它译成“存在”或“有”的译法提出了不同意见 ,认为只有理解和翻译成“是”才合乎希腊文幃v的原文 ,近年来王太庆、汪子嵩先生又以一些新的论点论证重申了陈康的意见 ,引起了许多讨论。由于哲学作为ontology(研究幃v的学问 )原创于古希腊 ,因此上述讨论就不仅深入于希腊哲学的全部和方方面面 ,而且涉及语言、逻辑、历史、生活和全盘文化的研讨。它产生了若干重要的成就 ,也留下了许多有待继续研究的问题。中西学者在当代都十分关心这个源于希腊哲学的根本问题 ,实在有其深刻的时代的背景和原因。它正是我们关注的原创文化智慧同当代现实关系问题的一个重要部分。由于希腊哲学是我的专业和以往研究较多的领域 ,因此 ,在这里 ,我就想结合自己对上述有关ontology的讨论所作的研究和思考 ,对希腊哲学对我们中国人
From Russell and logical positivists semantically and logically challenged the philosophical ontology of history, then Heidegger posed a new interpretation of ontology from existentialist perspective and put forward the traditional view that he thought was a misunderstanding It has been almost a hundred years since the fundamental challenge. Relatedly, Chinese scholars who study western philosophy have also been greatly confused about how to understand the ontology of western philosophy and how to translate the fundamental category of 帏 v (being) in Chinese. Half a century ago, Mr. Chen Kang disagreed on the translation that translated it as “being” or “having” and believed that only understanding and translation into “yes” would be consistent with the original Greek text. In recent years, Wang Taiqing Mr. Wang Zisong reiterated Chen Kang’s remarks with some new arguments and aroused much discussion. Since philosophy was originally founded in ancient Greece as ontology, the above discussion goes beyond all and every aspect of Greek philosophy and involves the study of language, logic, history, life, and culture as a whole. It has produced a number of important achievements, leaving many issues to be further studied. Both Chinese and western scholars pay close attention to this fundamental problem originated from the Greek philosophy in contemporary times, and have their profound background and reason of the times. It is an important part of the question of the relationship between original cultural wisdom and contemporary reality that we are focusing on. Since Greek philosophy is a field of my major and past studies, I would like to combine my own research and reflection on the discussion of ontology mentioned above,
