1968年德国数学家迪特里希·布雷斯在“交通规划悖论”的论文中指出反直觉现象:一种看似合理的改变,却带来与直觉相反的变化,得到与初衷相反的结果。这一运筹学论断后来以他的名字命名,称为布雷斯现象或布雷斯悖论。
In 1968, German mathematician Dietrich Bures pointed out in his thesis of “Paradox of Transportation Planning” that the phenomenon of counter-intuitiveness: a seemingly reasonable change has brought about the opposite of intuition and has been contrary to the original intention the result of. This operational research thesis was later named after him, known as the Bresse phenomenon or the Bresch Paradox.
