一度灸手可热的DIY势头被内存疯涨和随后台湾的地震扼制住了。大恒还扬着DIY的大旗,但是自己的品牌电脑也在这期间悄然制造、下线。至此大恒计算机广场的业务被一分为三:DIY、品牌PC和硬件代理。推自己的品牌原本是件大事,大恒却没有张扬的意思,因为他们明白,在如今的PC市场。没有与众不同的特色,也就难有浮出海面的机会。尽管如此,大恒仍天志不移地推自己的品牌,原因何在? 大恒集团的主要业务都在行业,这样一笔丰厚资源,给了大恒足够的信心。现在大恒的品牌PC尽管还是试产,但已经有几个来自行业的单子。大恒与用户紧密的联系,使他们得以推出DIY在行业的拓展,完全定制生产PC。也就是与用户讨论应用,来确定最终PC的配制,按单生产。现有的单子就来自经常大量绘图、对PC有特别要求的用户。Dell起家于按单生产,大恒恐怕动的也是这个心思。不知大恒是想做Dell第二,还是再加进一些自己的诠释,做出个大恒第一来。
