京味文化固然形成了一些被人们所认为的固定特征,如独特的京味语言(京片儿),以胡同、四合院为标志的建筑,但是,也从来没有停止变化的步伐。于是,“他者”视角成为考察京味文化变迁的一个合理有效的角度。京味文化的形成是在汉文化的基础上,融合满、蒙等少数民族文化,并经多年融合、转化形成一样,京味文化一直以来,都是在与其他地域、民族、国家文化相互磨合、碰撞的过程中,不断更新着自己的内容与表现形态的。因而,从城市移发的“他者”视角对京味文化的变迁进行研究有极其重要的理论
