Recently, researchers from York University in Canada and Marseilles First University in France reported in the journal Nature - Chemical Biology that they have expanded the development of second-generation biofuels. The study found that there is a family of enzymes that can degrade the “hard-to-digest” biomass into its own sugar in nature.
