一、前言 70年代以后,钢的连铸技术的发展转入了厚钢板、机械制造用捧钢,无缝钢管等高级钢的连铸化新阶段。在这情况下消除连铸坯特有的中心偏析缺陷就成了重大课题。新日铁自1971年以来便致力于电磁搅拌技术应用于钢的连铸工艺。并于1973年开发成功实用的电磁搅拌技术。现在新日铁株式会社几乎所有的连铸机都附设了电磁搅拌装置。 本论文将阐明关于电磁搅拌及其操作因素和凝固组织的关系,进而也涉及产品质量的改善。
I. Introduction Since the 1970s, the continuous casting technology of steel has been transferred to the new stage of continuous casting of advanced steel such as thick steel plates, machine-made steel plates and seamless steel pipes. In this case, it is a major issue to eliminate the center segregation defects unique to a continuous casting slab. Nippon Steel since 1971 has committed to electromagnetic stirring technology used in steel casting process. And in 1973 the successful development of practical electromagnetic stirring technology. Almost all of the Nippon Steel Corporation continuous casting machines are equipped with electromagnetic stirring devices. This paper will clarify the relationship between electromagnetic stirring and its operating factors and the solidified structure, which in turn will also involve the improvement of product quality.
