2003年我第四次旅美回国,向祖籍山东安丘市博物馆捐赠外国艺术瓷的时候,自己定了一个规则:对于退休后多次出国探亲旅游中在美国各地古董艺术品市场搜寻到的欧亚美20国近现代陶瓷标本,统统捐赠。但是,对于退休前几次因公出国访问、以及作为礼品纪念品得到外国陶瓷和国内友人赠送的外国陶瓷,也包括改革开放新时期在北京、天津、大连等城市古玩市场搜寻的欧洲与日本的陶瓷等等,暂不捐赠。这样,共捐赠了250余件,另有七八十件还保存在我的书房柜子里。
In 2003, when I returned to China for the fourth trip to the United States, I donated a set of rules to donate foreign art porcelain to the ancestral home of Anqiu City Museum in Shandong Province. For Eurasian American and Asian Americans searching for travel art in the United States, 20 modern ceramic specimens, all donated. However, a few foreign ceramics and domestic ceramics donated by foreign celebrities and domestic friends as gifts souvenirs on several occasions before retirement, as well as ceramics from Europe and Japan searched in the antiques market of Beijing, Tianjin and Dalian in the new period of reform and opening up Wait, temporarily donate. In this way, a total of more than 250 pieces donated, and another seventy or eighty still stored in my study cupboard.
