新的课程改革,使高中地理教学出现了新的变化,这些变化在很大程度上改变了地理教学模式。新课改提出了具体要求,对于过去在课堂上单向的知识传授要进行改革,提倡学生发现问题、解决问题,由被动学习变为主动学习,既要获得知识和技能,又要让学生学会学习,同时倡导树立科学的人生观,在具体的教学活动中要求引导学生积极参与,热爱研究,养成勤学好问的学习态度,培养学生寻找和整理信息的能力,增强分析问题和解决问题的能力,提倡同学之间互相学习,互相交流。为了践行新课改,高中地理活动课程摆在了重要的位置上,同时多种多样地培养学生主动学习,以加强师生活动交流为目标的教学形式越来越受到重视。由此地理活动越来越受到重视,可以说,地理活动进行得优与劣,影响着教学质量的高与低。
