采用提拉法沿c向成功生长出质量优良的Nd∶CaNb_2O_6新型单晶。测量了晶体的室温吸收光谱,在808 nm处吸收截面为5.04×10~(20)cm~2,吸收带宽为8 nm。根据Judd-Ofeit理论,拟合出晶体场强度参数Ω_((?)=2,4,6)∶Ω_2=5.321×10~(20)cm~2,Ω_4=1.734×10~(20)cm~2,Ω_6=2.889×10~(-20)cm~2。荧光辐射寿命τ_(rad)为167.02 μs,计算的荧光分支比β为∶β_1=36.03%,β_2=52.29%,β_3=11.15%,β_1=0.533%。这些良好的光谱性质表明Nd∶CaNb_2O_6晶体将成为固态激光器中有潜力的激光增益介质。
Using Czochralski method, a new type of Nd: CaNb_2O_6 single crystal was successfully grown along c direction. The absorption spectrum of the crystal at room temperature was measured. The absorption cross section at 808 nm was 5.04 × 10 ~ (20) cm ~ 2 and the absorption bandwidth was 8 nm. According to the Judd-Ofeit theory, the field strength parameter Ω_ ((?) = 2, 4 and 6) is obtained: Ω_2 = 5.321 × 10 ~ (20) cm ~ 2 and Ω_4 = 1.734 × 10 ~ (20) cm ~ 2, Ω_6 = 2.889 × 10 ~ (-20) cm ~ 2. The fluorescence radiative lifetime τ_ (rad) was 167.02 μs. The calculated fluorescence branching ratio β was: β_1 = 36.03%, β_2 = 52.29%, β_3 = 11.15%, β_1 = 0.533%. These good spectral properties suggest that Nd: CaNb_2O_6 crystals will be potential laser gain media in solid-state lasers.
