The initial allocation of virtual machine resources often can not meet the performance requirements of runtime services, resulting in high resource utilization, long response time and other “hot spots”. In order to eliminate hot spots to ensure service performance, the traditional methods mainly include resource expansion and dynamic migration of virtual machines. However, there are still problems of insufficient reserved resource space and excessive migration costs of virtual machines. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a hot-spot elimination method based on cold-spot virtual machine migration. That is, the cold spot virtual machine is the target of migration, and the released resources are allocated to hot-spot virtual machines so as to maintain hot spot service performance and reduce hot spot Eliminate the cost, so as to better meet the service level agreement constraints, and through experiments proved that the method is feasible and effective.
