多种不同化学结构和生物活性的化合物均引起大鼠肝的肿大,一般均伴有肝微粒体药物代谢酶活力增加,后者是机体加强代谢的结果,借以防止毒物在体内各组织中蓄积。有作者认为微粒体酶增加可能是一种适应性反应(Adaptive response)。但对肝微粒体酶增加和肝细胞损害之间的关系尚不清楚。作者拟用可引起大鼠肝肿大的几种化合物,长时间给毒观察肝的生化和形态等变化,并阐明其间的关系。
